With 36 years of frontline experience as an operational firefighter, I have dedicated my career to protecting lives across Birmingham, the Black Country, and some of the UKs busiest motorway networks. Throughout this time, I have encountered and managed countless emergency situations, honing my skills in firefighting, rescue operations, and advanced trauma care.

For the past 20 years, I have been deeply involved in teaching First Aid and advanced trauma care, both within the fire service and for external organizations. My qualifications include FREC 4 in Advanced Trauma Care, and I have also served as a First Responder for the West Midlands Ambulance Service, bringing lifesaving interventions to those in urgent need.

My passion for helping others extends beyond emergency response. As a lifelong animal lover especially of horses I became the UKs first horseback responder, combining my emergency medical expertise with my equestrian skills to reach those in distress in challenging environments.

In addition to my operational experience, I have also served within the Fire Safety Department of the West Midlands Fire Service, achieving a Level 3 qualification in Fire Safety. This role allowed me to contribute to fire prevention strategies, ensuring safer homes, businesses, and public spaces.

With a wealth of hands-on experience and a commitment to training others, I continue to share my knowledge and skills to improve emergency response, first aid, and fire safety standards.
